The Blondie is espresso with vanilla, caramel and 7 Brew's breve mix. 7 Brew calls it "our most loved 7 Original," and it was the #1 "Most liked" drink at all six stands whose ordering pages we checked.
A Breve From 7 Brew's First Menu
A Blondie is a breve: espresso made with 7 Brew's breve mix, which is half-and-half, instead of milk. 7 Brew adds vanilla and caramel and describes the result as "an iconic blend" with "a smooth, creamy finish."
It is one of the drinks 7 Brew started with. QSR Magazine reported that the first stand, in Rogers, Arkansas, offered seven drinks, and the Blondie was one of them. It is still the first drink listed under the 7 Originals on 7 Brew's printable menu.
You can order a Blondie hot, iced or as a frozen chiller, with whipped cream, cold foam or a drizzle. Oat, almond or coconut milk cost nothing extra, though they change the taste of a breve.
Where the Calories Come From
A medium iced Blondie is 480 calories with 38 grams of sugar, 26 grams of fat and 120 mg of caffeine, according to 7 Brew's nutrition guide dated October 1, 2026. Most of those calories come from the breve mix, not the syrups.
Hot is heavier than iced: a medium hot Blondie is 610 calories. The frozen chiller has about the same calories as iced (490 for a medium) but the most caffeine, 233 mg in a medium and 304 mg in a large. A small has the same 120 mg as a medium, and the lightest Blondie is a kids iced, at 230 calories and 60 mg of caffeine.
Because the breve mix carries the calories, the Sugar-Free Blondie, made with sugar-free vanilla and caramel, is still fairly high: 400 calories with 6 grams of sugar for a medium iced, against 480 calories and 38 grams for the regular Blondie, with the same 26 grams of fat. It makes the biggest difference as a frozen chiller: a medium Sugar-Free Blondie chiller is 200 calories, against 490. 7 Brew's guide lists the sugar-free Blondie as containing soy as well as milk; the regular Blondie lists milk only.

Customers Love It, Critics Are Split
Customers: on the online ordering pages of six stands, the Blondie had more ratings than any other drink, 432, and scored about 91% positive. It was labeled the #1 "Most liked" item at every one of the six.
Those pages also showed the price on October 5 and 6, 2026: $6.05 to $6.68 before tax, one price for the drink rather than one per size. Most stands charged $6.05, but even one city varied: one Augusta, Georgia stand charged $6.68, while two others there charged $6.05. Our 7 Brew prices guide has every drink.
Food writers are more mixed:
- Tasting Table (Amy Bell, March 2026) ranked it #4 of 9 coffee drinks. She liked how the half-and-half took the edge off the espresso, but found it very rich. Her #1 pick was a Banana Bread Blondie.
- The Daily Meal (Sarah Dealy, September 2026) put it on her skip list: "I couldn't get past the indistinct flavor." Her drinks were small and made with almond milk, which changes a breve a lot.

Canned Blondie at Walmart
7 Brew has sold a canned Blondie Chilled Espresso Breve at Walmart stores in Arkansas since March 2026, and at select Walmart stores nationwide since August 2026. 7 Brew lists it as an 11 oz can made with 100% Arabica coffee and real cream, with "buttery caramel and rich vanilla flavors," for $2.98. It is not sold at 7 Brew stands.
Tasting Table's review of the cans found it smooth and creamy rather than syrupy. 7 Brew does not list calories for the can on its website, but both 7 Brew and Walmart say it has about as much caffeine as one shot of espresso. Every can is on our 7 Brew canned drinks page.
7 Brew Blondie Recipe: How to Make One at Home
7 Brew does not publish its recipe or syrup amounts, so this is our own version built from the ingredients 7 Brew lists: espresso, vanilla, caramel and half-and-half.
- Brew 2 shots of espresso, or about half a cup of strong coffee.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup and 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup while the coffee is hot.
- Fill a large cup with ice and add 3/4 cup of half-and-half.
- Pour the coffee over, stir, and taste. Add more syrup if you want it closer to 7 Brew's sweetness.

Yes, as a canned Blondie Chilled Espresso Breve, sold at select Walmart stores for $2.98. It is a ready-to-drink version, not the same as a Blondie made at the stand.
