The Funnel Cake Macchiato is a 7 Brew macchiato with white chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. 7 Brew describes it as "All the sweet, nostalgic goodness of a fairground funnel cake; no tickets required." It is one of the 7 Classics on 7 Brew's menu, and comes hot, iced or as a frozen chiller.
The base is milk with 7 Brew's espresso on top, which is what makes it a macchiato: 7 Brew says it is "made with milk and topped with our signature espresso." The nutrition guide lists milk as its allergen, and milk and soy for the sugar-free version.
The stands we checked did not list the Funnel Cake Macchiato on its own. Their macchiato, a Caramel Macchiato, cost $6.05 to $6.98 before tax at six stands on October 5 and 6, 2026, and most charged $6.05, so expect to pay about the same (7 Brew prices).
From Secret Menu to Regular Menu
Funnel cake started as a fan order. In July 2025, Tasting Table's list of the best 7 Brew secret menu drinks said you could "generally just ask for the funnel cake by name," and described it with salted caramel, vanilla and chocolate.
By March 2026, Tasting Table's ranking of 7 Brew's coffee drinks was picking from the 7 Classics menu, and noted that the funnel cake flavor was "once only part of the secret menu." Today 7 Brew lists it with white chocolate rather than plain chocolate.
Funnel Cake Macchiato Calories
A medium iced Funnel Cake Macchiato is 390 calories with 58 grams of sugar and 120 mg of caffeine, according to 7 Brew's nutrition guide, and a medium hot one is 420 calories. The frozen chiller is the big jump: a medium is 610 calories with 233 mg of caffeine, almost twice the caffeine of the iced drink.
Why the Sugar-Free Version Still Has Sugar
All three of its flavors are on 7 Brew's list of sugar-free flavors, and the guide lists a Sugar-Free Funnel Cake Macchiato. A medium iced is 280 calories with 13 grams of sugar, against 390 calories and 58 grams for the regular one.
That is about what a plain medium iced latte has (14 grams), so the sugar left likely comes from the milk. It is lower in sugar, not sugar-free. Our 7 Brew sugar-free guide covers the other sugar-free drinks.
Tasting Table's Verdict: Good Texture, Wrong Flavor
Tasting Table's Amy Bell did not like the flavor. She ranked it 6th of the 9 7 Brew coffee drinks she tried in March 2026, writing that "getting a funnel cake macchiato was an absolute mistake" and "It's nothing like a real funnel cake and makes me think of a candle." It ranked that high because of the texture: "I like the consistency of this one best of all the drinks I tried."

- Funnel cake as a breve. Parade's guide to the 7 Brew secret menu suggests starting with a breve, the half-and-half base of the Blondie, and adding vanilla, salted caramel and white chocolate. It is not on the menu, so ask your Brewista.

Yes. As of October 2026, the Funnel Cake Macchiato is on 7 Brew's 7 Classics menu and the Funnel Cake Shake is on its shake menu.
How do you make a 7 Brew funnel cake at home?
Our simple version, not 7 Brew's recipe: 2 shots of espresso over about 1 cup of milk and ice, with about 1 tablespoon each of white chocolate sauce, vanilla syrup and salted caramel syrup. Pour the espresso on last.
