7 Brew's energy drinks are all built on 7 Energy, the chain's own energy drink. You pick Original or Sugar-Free, then add any flavor 7 Brew has. That is why the energy menu can look endless: the named drinks are just popular flavor combinations.
What Is 7 Energy?
7 Energy is the energy drink 7 Brew makes under its own name. It comes in two versions:
- Original
- Sugar-Free, which 7 Brew says has 0 grams of sugar and 5 calories in a 12 oz can
7 Brew did not always use its own drink. When 7 Energy launched in 2022, AY Magazine reported that the chain had used Red Bull in its flavored energy drinks before that.
At the stand, every 7 Energy drink can be ordered iced or as a frozen chiller. A regular 7 Energy chiller has about half the caffeine of the iced drink, while sugar-free chillers keep more; see our 7 Brew chillers guide. 7 Brew says you can add cream, whipped cream or cold foam, or change the sweetness level.
7 Brew Energy Drink Flavors: The Full Menu
The cards at the top of this page list all ten named 7 Energy drinks on 7 Brew's regular menu, with the flavors 7 Brew gives for each and the official numbers for a medium. Three of them (Blue Raspberry, Watermelon and Strawberry) are on 7 Brew's website but not in its nutrition guide.
7 Brew's website lists the Pixie Stick's flavors as almond, orange and pomegranate, and its description just says "You know what it tastes like."
7 Energy comes in small, medium and large. Unlike the coffee drinks, there is no kids size for 7 Energy in 7 Brew's nutrition guide.
Featured and Seasonal 7 Energy Drinks
7 Brew also adds limited-time energy drinks to its featured menu:
- Nightshade is part of the October 2026 Halloween lineup, as well as the regular menu.
- Drizzled Apple 7 Energy Frozen Chiller (fall 2026): green apple, topped with cold foam and caramel drizzle.
- Cherry Limeade 7 Energy (August 2026): cherry, lime and lemon.
- Midnight Rain 7 Energy: blackberry and blue raspberry.
- Firecracker 7 Energy Chiller (summer 2026): orange, raspberry and pomegranate, frozen.
Featured drinks come and go, so ask your stand which ones are still on.

Pink Mermaid: Energy or Fizz?
On 7 Brew's stand menu, Pink Mermaid is a 7 Fizz Soda, which has no caffeine. Its flavors are watermelon, coconut and strawberry.
But 7 Brew also sells a Sugar-Free Pink Mermaid 7 Energy in cans at Walmart, with the same three flavors. And at the stand, 7 Brew says you can put any flavor in 7 Energy. So if you want Pink Mermaid with caffeine, ask for it in 7 Energy.
The Best 7 Brew Energy Drinks
We did not find a food writer who has ranked 7 Brew's handcrafted energy drinks, so treat any "best energy drink" list with care. What the evidence does say:
- Customers like 7 Energy. Plain 7 Energy scored about 90% positive across 109 ratings on the ordering pages of the six stands we checked.
- Pixie Stick (almond, orange and pomegranate) is the flavor combo that won Tasting Table's July 2026 ranking of 13 Fizz Sodas. The same combo is a 7 Energy on the regular menu.
- Pink Mermaid: in Tasting Table's review of 7 Brew's Walmart cans, Megan Hageman said the Pink Mermaid energy drink "might just be" her favorite.
- Ocean Breeze comes in a Sugar-Free version listed at 10 calories, if you want a flavored energy drink with no sugar.

How Much Caffeine Is in 7 Energy?
7 Brew publishes caffeine for every size in its nutrition guide (dated October 1, 2026). For iced 7 Energy drinks it lists:

Two details in those numbers:
- Flavored drinks have a little less caffeine than plain 7 Energy in the same size.
- Frozen chillers have less caffeine. A regular flavored 7 Energy chiller is listed at 36 mg (small), 55 mg (medium) and 71 mg (large). Sugar-free chillers are listed higher, at 57 to 114 mg for flavored ones.
A 12 oz can of 7 Energy has 114 mg, the same as a medium plain 7 Energy.
The FDA says 400 mg of caffeine a day is not generally linked to negative effects for most adults, and that medical experts advise against energy drinks for children and teens. Our 7 Brew caffeine chart compares every drink.
For comparison, the guide lists a medium iced latte at 120 mg and a medium cold brew at 268 mg. For the canned coffees, 7 Brew says each has about as much caffeine as one shot of espresso, and Tasting Table's reviewer estimated the canned Blondie at about 60 mg.

Sugar-Free 7 Energy
To keep a 7 Energy drink sugar-free, you need two things:
- Sugar-Free 7 Energy as the base.
- Sugar-free flavors in it.
7 Brew's nutrition guide lists sugar-free versions of Ocean Breeze, Brewberry and Sunrise, and its Walmart cans add sugar-free Nightshade and Pink Mermaid. The sugar-free stand drinks are listed at 0 to 10 calories and 0 grams of sugar in every size. Our 7 Brew sugar-free drinks guide has every sugar-free flavor and drink on the menu.
The regular versions are a different story. A medium iced Ocean Breeze is listed at 240 calories and 58 grams of sugar, and a large at 360 calories and 91 grams.
If you add a topping, the guide lists cream at 40 calories and the drizzles at 100 to 120 calories each (20 to 80 for the sugar-free drizzles).

7 Energy in Cans (Walmart)
In August 2026, 7 Brew put 7 Energy in about 1,100 Walmart stores and roughly 450 Walmart fuel stations, plus Walmart.com. There are five 12 oz cans:
- Original
- Sugar-Free Original
- Sugar-Free Ocean Breeze
- Sugar-Free Nightshade
- Sugar-Free Pink Mermaid
Original and Sugar-Free Original cans are also sold at every 7 Brew stand, according to 7 Brew.
